Spring Farm


The Spring Farm Urban Release Area, Camden, will be a sustainable urban community comprising 5 villages of nearly 4,000 dwellings, linked by bush corridors to the Nepean River and adjoining open space areas. The site has an area of 476 hectares and is bounded by the Nepean River, the Camden By-Pass, Mount Annan, Jacks Gully Tip and Mount Annan Botanic Gardens.

Spring Farm is Project Managed on behalf of a consortium of landowners including Landcom, Mirvac and The Cornish Group, by Pat McNamara. Richard Meaker and Pat McNamara have chaired the steering committee of council and developers, and project managed the rezoning process. In November 2004 Lean & Hayward was awarded an Excellence in Surveying and Mapping award for Spring Farm in the category of 'Public Infrastructure & Community Facilities'.
